Mix Title: Jimmy's Eclectic Mix-Up

If you thought Wales’ only contribution to modern society was Rod Stewart and Catherine Zeta-Jones, then you obviously haven't met Jon Langford. Jon is a musician who fronts the long running quintessential pop-punk Brit band, The Mekons, and currently collaborates with his Chicago brethren in The Waco Brothers. He’s also an artist who creates sought-after paintings in his unique fresh-collides-with-down-home style. He’s a mentor to other indie rockers, especially his compatriots on the Bloodshot label. In short, Jon Langford is the quintessential Renaissance man—he can do just about anything, and do it well.

Well, now we have a fresh new voice to contend with as well.  Jimmy Langford - a boy who speaks his mind and knows what he wants.  He is likely a chip off the ol' block when it comes to making a mix to encompass a vast array of styles and tastes.  Just be grateful you won't have to go toe to toe with him at the silent auction table to win this CD.
